Planika FLA4 and FLA4+ Automatic Bioethanol Fireplace Inserts

The Planika FLA4 range is a fully automatic linear fireplace insert engineered around Planika’s patented BEV Technology®, which burns ethanol vapours above the fuel reservoir. It delivers a real flame without a chimney or gas connection and is designed for premium built-in indoor installations.

FLA4 and FLA4+ share the same burner lengths, heat outputs and minimum-room requirements. FLA4+ adds a substantially larger fuel reservoir for extended maximum burn times.

Maximum burn time and heat output vary with flame setting and operating conditions. Confirm the selected model’s installation requirements in its technical card before construction.

Installation and Configuration

FLA4 and FLA4+ are intended for indoor built-in applications. The burner can be incorporated into single-sided, left-corner, right-corner, three-sided, tunnel, room-divider and island arrangements when the enclosure is designed to the relevant Planika technical documentation.

Glass screens are required for self-constructed tunnel, room-divider and island housings. Final enclosure dimensions, ventilation, clearances, electrical connection and commissioning must follow the documentation for the exact burner size and configuration.

Planika specifies a five-year warranty for the FLA4 and FLA4+ range. Warranty coverage is subject to Planika’s terms and correct installation, operation and maintenance.
