The Teppanyaki Cast Iron Fire Pit 

This clever cast iron fire pit gives you the best of both worlds. 

A smart looking coffee table in the daytime then simply remove the heavy duty cover plate and by night it converts to a fire pit becoming the centre piece of any entertainment area.

The outer plate can ideally be used as a hotplate to cook food on otherwise a drop a grill into the centre cut-out and really take advantage of this little beauty transforming it into a functional BBQ

 

Specifications:

  • Bowl is made from 5mm thick Cast Iron
  • Bowl measures 800mm in diameter & 400mm deep
  • Base size is 350mm in diameter and 150mm high
  • The overall plate size is 1000mm in diameter with a 700mm diameter centre cut out
  • Plate thickness is 8mm hardened steel or you can have 8mm Stainless Steel which can be removeable
  • Overall Weight is about 80kg incl the base
  • Comes with a 12mm hole in the centre to allow water to drain away
  • The option of a grill plate to be able to BBQ on it, is also available in both Metal or Stainless Steel finish
  • A screen to contain the embers is also adaptable onto this fire pit
  • Custom made brackets can allow you to also turn this fire pit into a Spit Rotisserie
  • The option of having the top plate welded fixed in position or having it so its removable is also available. If its removable it will give you the ability to use the fire pit as an open fire, then when you want to close it off its just a matter of popping the top plate over it and converting it back into a coffee table or BBQ

 Teppanyaki Spit Rotisserie Brackets

These spit rotisserie brackets will allow you to convert your already versatile Teppanyaki Fire Pit into a spit as well. They simply slide on to the top plate when required and have a turn thumb screw which will allow you to slide the poles up and down when cooking according to the intensity of your coals or fire

2 x  25mm poles 500mm in length are also included with the brackets . You will simply need to tech screw the spit brackets to the top of the poles which are supplied when you purchase your spit kit

NOTE: Maintenance of the top plate will be required if you wish to use it for cooking purposes. It will need to be regularly oiled in order to prevent rust from forming. If you wanted to bring it back to a clean metal finish then you can use Hydrochloric Acid and a rough scourer. Always remember to use gloves and a mask when handling acid.

If you are not fussed with maintaining the top plate then it will naturally oxidize and turn an orange patina colour
